Raindrops on Roses…
Okay, they’re not actually raindrops. I misted water onto a pink rose petal and put a yellow rose behind it. But the detail of the yellow rose, inverted through the water drop, is pretty darn cool looking, if I do say so myself. And I do. Cause I just did. 🙂
And Whiskers on Kittens…
These are a few of my favorite (detailed) things…
The prompt over at Wordsmith Studio this week is Detailed. Look around for something detailed or intricate and take a few photos. Share a link to them over in the comments on the prompt post. I’d love to see what you’ve got!
Love and Photo Fun!

P.S. You may have noticed that I changed up the look of the blog recently. Do you love it? Hate it? Want it? Let me know what you think in the comments. Thanks! 😉
Wow! Awesome details! I love the green of that cat’s eyes, too. And I think your new blog design is beautiful. I like that header shot and the colors all go nicely together.
Thanks, Linda! Khara’s “I ♥ My Blog” challenge had me thinking and changing everything around. I think I like it pretty well, but only time will tell… 😉
I love the new look, too. And the photo of the raindrops on the rose petal is stunning!
Thanks, Amy! It took forever to get it to look right. 😉 But I had a lot of fun with it. I love design stuff.
Absolutely amazing photography of the rose petal droplets with the yellow rose in the droplets. Wow! Do you have a Pinterest account? I love your photos!
Thanks, Romelle! I’ve seen a lot of cool water drop photos, so I had to give it a try. Here’s my Pinterest account: http://pinterest.com/pin/357262182909982745/ Be sure to follow me, so I can follow you. 😉
Amazing! I was wondering what that brilliant orange behind the petal was, and I was surprised to hear it was another flower. I never would have guessed!
Thanks, Emily! If you look closely, you can see the yellow rose inverted through the water drops on the top edge of the pink rose petal.
