The prompt over at WordsmithStudio.org this week is Broken.
We’ve been checking things out around the house. Spring will be here before you know it, so we walk around outside the house. We have to decide where we want new plants, if we want to move some plants we already have, and what new plants we might want to get.
Out in the front foundation garden, I found my little fairy had been knocked over and her wing was broken. That fits perfectly with this week’s prompt, so I brought her inside and sat her at the counter, to photograph later. When I went back a couple days later, with camera in hand, I found her fixed. It turns out that my son had seen that she was broken and glued her back together for me. You can still see where she was broken, so I took some pictures anyway.
Here’s my contribution. You should check out the prompt and show me yours. Enjoy!
Love and Photo Fun!!

I really love this picture!! I collect angels!! It’s got a peaceful feel… even with the broken wing.
Thanks!
The lighting is lovely, and the vignetting brings attention to the subject. Very nice. I have lots of things broken, but not so photogenic 🙂
Anything can be photogenic. You just need good light, the right angle… 😉
Beautiful photo and great that your son fixed it when he saw it was broken!
He loves to fix stuff. He’s very handy. Now, if I could just get him to do his chores every now and then. 🙂
I just commented, but now I don’t see it. I really like this one!
The first comment must have gotten lost in the ether…
I think this is one of my favorites. I’m really happy with the way it turned out.
Where’s yours??? 😉
