“Please?”
“No, Alex. Absolutely not.” Mary slammed the book, and returned it to the shelf.
He pressed his body against hers, breathing heavily in her ear.
“Well… maybe,” she sighed. “Just this once.”

LOVE!
Being honest…I scooted right over when I saw the title, I’m a sucker for a romantic tale in the stacks. 😉
this was so good…hoping her “sigh” was a happy one.
have a great weekend!
Of course! She wanted to, and as soon as he helped lower her inhibitions, she was totally up for it!!
I always loved to read, but never spent time in the library when I was in school. Weird, huh?
no not weird, I think that everyone has their “places”.
But I do admit to making out in the library. I loved books, I loved kisses…you can have BOTH in the library 😉
such a fun read, nice to meet you and your blog Becca!
Loved this! It reminded me of my high school boyfriend. We didn’t do much reading in the library…
Oh my…did it suddenly get warm in here?
I never had a lack of private places to… uh… hang out, when I was a teenager, so the library never made it on “that” list. Maybe it’s time to remedy that… I know hubby would be up for it, lol!!

LOL! High school memories, where you “met” in the library when you were too young to drive. Oy!
Oooh, nice flash fiction piece!! …. I’m in love with all those hardback books!
Thanks! They were a college graduation gift from my dad. I haven’t actually read any of those physical books, but I love to look at them!! LOL!

I work in a law library. It’s terribly unromantic. I have yet to catch anyone making out amidst the Tax binders. But who knows? Maybe, someday….:D
There’s always something to look forward to… 😉 If not, you could always just do it yourself.
Um-maaaah! Naughty! 😉
Nicely written. Her weary agreement was just perfect.
If Alex is the bad guy in this piece, I guess you gotta love him. 😉

As if libraries needed another excuse to be awesome… 😉
I know, right?

Well, the prospect of that would be the only way to get my husband in a library. (Not gonna happen… :))
Mine too!! Lol!
Oh the tales those books could tell! 😀
You mean, besides the ones they already tell… 😉
Yes. I guess. Either way I’m laughing! 😀
Books and being naughty, quite a combination.
Two of my favorite things… 😉
Mary should really learn to control her behavior in the library. I mean…slamming a book?! Really…
I know! I hated to even write it…
Oh to be young and foolish again. Of course there weren’t a video camera lurking everywhere when I was young. Fun read.
Lucky for me, there weren’t cameras… LOL.

lol!Imagine doing that in the library! In India,we have such a to do,there is no way such a thing will be allowed(at least that used to be the case some 30 years bk when we were in school)-& ofc the arrangement is such that you are easily visible-sigh!
Sweet story. Brings back nice memories.
Nothing like giving in to temptation! Great take on the prompt Becca!
Thanks Suzanne. I love writing for these prompts!!
